Tiny Tuesday Week 80

Over the course of the last few months I have been trying to get myself set up for rainy cold days like today.   I have gathered some feathers and I bought myself a focus rail.  Today seemed like a good day to give it all a try.  I used my light box, took 8 shots of this small peacock feather with the 90 mm macro lens with a close-up lens attached, and focus stacked them in Photoshop CC.  Fortunately, you can’t look too closely as it is far from perfect.  I suppose I will have plenty of time for needed practice over the coming winter.
