Our gas meter was read today, still by a man on foot......(why is it always a man?)  Cubic Feet/revolution. Thorn EMI,The Gas Corporation.
Back in 1985 the world was very different...... still, once we Brexit, we won't need to change to the new fangled metric metre cubic thingies......
