Happy birthday Finland!

Today we Finns are celebrating 99th birthday as an independent nation. I thought this image from Imatra next to Vuoksi river introduce the nature of our nation quite well. The stones and flag in the midle of birches are part of the memorial monument built to respect those soldiers whom has made all this possible.
