"AN APPLE A DAY".

Went my walk this morning before it was light as there was going to be rain later. I left in white frost and was only back when it started melting and the rain started. A damp grey and miserable day. My blip for today is a starling eating the few apples left on next door's apple tree. Have spent most of the day hand stripping a cairn, and it is now dark - again.
My meter that was being fitted yesterday, well, after waiting in all afternoon, guess what? nobody turned up and I have heard nothing. It is so maddening, and a total waste of an afternoon.
