And then there were two

I found the tiniest snail yet a couple of days ago and had my blip for today all planned.  Having taken the picture I left the "props" as they were and set about a few chores.  When I returned to said "props", I found the middle one had gone missing and left a message in its place.  It didn't take too long to spot the culprit, but it did change the idea for my blip.  The thimble gives you an approximation of size.

My large captive caterpillar is still happily munching its way through geranium leaves but it shouldn't be too long before it stops and changes into a chrysalis.  Expect gruesome at some stage, although I'm hoping it won't be on Christmas morning.
