I Wish I Wasn't So Big Boned...

Whilst washing and prepping my beer bottles for filling this morning I was entertained by this pigeon who was trying everything to get at the nuts in the feeder.

It was leaning down - almost to the point of toppling over. It did try a landing on the little 'perch' which was comical and it was looking carefully down at the sparrows on the seed feeder.

In the end it gave up and was picking up the bits of seed on the ground under the sparrows.

Looking at the size of it, I don't think it is going to fade away anytime soon.
