Greater Flamingo

A lovely, totally unexpected sight, a pair of beautiful Flamingo on my second favourite lagoon and they let me get close and seemed completely oblivious to my presence, which was fantastic! Had a really great morning watching them and then on to the new National Oman Museum in Muttrah which was superb!
I've just changed the photo to just a close-up of the Flamingos head and beak detail, you can see the beak is slightly open and you can see the filtering mechanism of that complex upsidedown structure!
