A Dip in the River..

It has been very warm here today. I managed a few hours of gardening including more time spent on irrigation maintenance. By lunchtime it was too hot for me so I came indoors. Ricky and I took Maisie for an evening walk...A pied stilt took her attention and she raced up and down the river trying her utmost to catch it The stilt was flying low to distract us from its nesting area. Maisie came home soaking wet but very happy.
