Waterloo Sunset

Well..Waterloo is somewhere here in this sunset..near the London Eye. I took this from the top of Point Hill in Greenwich tonight. I haven't been there for quite a while so have definitely missed out on some beautiful sunsets. I JUST missed the sun vanishing as I got up to the fence (there were a couple of 'professional looking photographers' with their tripods snapping away, I looked very 'un'professional with my arms resting on the spikes of the fence!) I was just a few seconds too late to get the big ball of fire, but managed to get a bit of a Jaffa Orange sky over London. In just a few minutes it was over..far too quickly.
