The Christmas before....

..... our youngest goes off travelling for a year so it's all a bit odd in the household - will soon only have one left at home as the other currently resides in Canada
So the usual trials and errors in putting up the tree - the tree in fact is too big for the lounge so we had to move it, half the lights weren't working and it was all a bit stop start with children eating dinner at separate times, rushing to the shop to get more lights and trying to excavate cats from various Christmas decorations. All done now and a peaceful calm has come to the house
