Proud

So very proud of my business students tonight. I chose not to speak for the entire 2 hrs and they ran the class. I guided a little, wrote the occasional note and error corrected speaking on pieces of paper. They helped each other, got themselves organised, made decisions. They were divided on things to change; three said they wanted to hear me correct their errors, and four said they didn't need to, although one commented he missed the sound of my voice. For almost all, this was a unique experience as they don't have any other opportunities to speak English. They also made these notes before my feedback, which was essentially the same.

Proud and happy.
