Could it be Christmas?

Inspired by HarlingDarling's efforts, decided to go to Évora (regional capital) today to see if I could come up with something for a Christmas card. Won't be as artistic as hers, but it's an attempt...

Also, thought we might see some Christmassy decorations - we did - not much, mind you - mostly crib scenes in shops - I do love that the Portuguese (like Brazil, except in malls) remember what Christmas is commemorating - religious or not, Christ's Mass is the story of Christ being born as a baby, is it not?

In the end, though, my favourite photo was this one of the late sun on the east side of Évora´s main square, Praça do Giraldo.
