Frost

It was a hard frost in the night and when I walked down to Discussion group at 9.45 the mist was still in the valley.

We were discussing if our wealth belonged to us after our death. There wasn't a lot of discord. We thought though it seems to be human nature to want to leave our children in better circumstances than ourselves, we had a duty of care to the under-privileged so we were in favour of death duties. We were just annoyed that the big landlords like the Duke could pass everything on, and that the really rich could evade tax.

I came home to finish my Oman Blurb book in time to get the 40% discount. Then I started writing lists for Christmas shopping and sorting out what I'd cook for friends coming on Wednesday.

Permission from the Duke finally came through to allow Mr C to cut back the hedge over the road from our house, so he set to with his loppers.
