Lake of Menteith

Sometimes the weather turns out so much better than expected and today this was one of those days. The windscreen had to be de-iced this morning but once that had been done I was off to Aberfoyle to visit my doggy pal Togbe and his mum.

I took a wee detour down to the Lake of Menteith where I just stood and soaked up the wonderful view of the early morning mist which had settled just over the trees. The areas not reached by the sun's rays were thick with frost. Stunning views everywhere.
