Frost flowers

Chris and Lizzy returned safely yesterday evening - the car managed to make it from Leeds despite misfiring and using much more petrol than it should. It's booked into the garage tomorrow...

It was another deeply frosty morning, and I would have loved to get out for a long walk, but deadlines are approaching so I just spent a little time in the garden with my camera. These Michaelmas daisies have been flowering all autumn, but this morning were enhanced by perfect little frost flowers which adorned the central tube florets - best viewed in large!
