Tea and crossstitch

We spent the afternoon with neighbours, introducing crossstitch to them. The conversation with everyone always comes round to the terrible electricity supply at the moment. People are getting more and more angry with the gov. They still haven't given out the subsidised kerosene and its really very cold now so a lot of people are having to buy it for over 3x as much (a third of most people's wages). It's particularly annoying not having electricity for the first part of the morning because the houses are so dark anyway. The daughter ended up going to school with her dress on back to front because she couldn't see!
