Visiting good friends is good for the soul....

One of my best friends on the west coast has her eldest daughter living in our area for the past 3 years. Work brought her here and her work is now taking her away (promotions). Luckily it is in time for them to settle in to their new BC home before baby arrives. We see them often and adore them. I have known her for the past 20 years! She brought her fabulous hubby Andrew and my favorite puppies Walter and Gus. This is Gus perched on her lap. We enjoyed a long lazy final brunch...a bit sad saying good bye but know we will be retiring on the west coast ourselves and will see them then. Finished the day with a 3 k run and 1500 m swim and some Christmas garland on the stairs decorating.
