LITTLE HOUSE...

... no longer a "home"!

Been waiting for awhile now to take a shot of this little old house on our way into Penrith.

This morning suited! Te start of a hot day with high humidity after a big storm early this morning.

Not sure of it's originality, but it sits as you can see on the rise over looking the mighty Nepean River down below and to the west the Blue Mountains. 

My wait for the shot was the right condition to show the "blue effect" on the mountain range behind, and why the range has it's name. This link may be of interest.

As you can see the house now is abandoned sitting in the middle of one of the many turf farms in the area.

Not sure of the age but reckon around the late 1800's??
