all about mono...

...in a watercolor blossom

can you guess the 'real' color is pink? - no surprise there - but i felt like doing something a bit out of my comfort zone today - and going mono is certainly the way to do it - i never think or feel as if i quite have the hang of it - there are subtle nuances, i believe to getting black &white just right - i'm not sure i did it perfect here either but i do like the way this turned out - it almost has taken on a hue of purple - how that's happened i don't quite understand - perhaps it's because i combined it with doing a watercolor painting as well - whatever the case, it's out of the norm for me - and let's just say that makes it enough to make for...
