Heron stalking his prey

I had a mountain of prelim exam papers to mark but decided the weather was too good to stay in. Outdoors, sunlight and fresh air beckoned. Watched this heron stalking through the reeds for ages before taking off right past me. I'm gutted I didn't catch that shot... next time.
Apologies again for being rubbish with writing on other blips. Not enough hours in the day at the moment. Work is just nuts at the moment and I needed down time this weekend. Hope to get back into it soon.
