May I present Mr. and Mrs. Claus......I've had these two for over 20 years!  They are hand made by a woman in California (one of my old neighbors there told me about her creations).....their faces are made from women's stockings, the beards and hair are from yarn and she fashions and sews all their clothes.  She named them Runzelvolks, and she made all kinds of little people besides Mr. and Mrs. Claus, including elves, Father Christmas, snow people, Christmas bears.  They're so much fun to pull out from their boxes each year.  The closet where I keep them looks like a catacombs!  All these long rectangular boxes stacked one on top of the other!!!  :)

An addition here, late in the evening:  today is my birthday and one of our "kids" sent me the most balloons I've ever seen!!!!  Seen here with our bear, wearing his Santa hat.....:)
