Altermarkt

Another lovely day - bright sunshine, cloudless blue sky.  After an even more leisurely start than yesterday, we took the tram to the Hafenmarkt and had a wander, once again spending our money on frivolities.

We then walked up to the Rathaus, and looked around the Altermarkt.  I couldn't resist blipping this random German chap, who posed with the wooden carving after W asked he and his friends to move a little so I could take a photo!

Then on to the Dom once again, arriving as it was getting dark, to give us an impressive view of the market in front of the cathedral, with the large Christmas tree in the centre - see extras

When we arrived back in Rodenkirchen, we found the local market in full swing, and stopped for a glass of glüwein.  There was a lovely children's roundabout with Santa Claus on the top - see extras.
