Afternoon Light

Out on the mountain bike for a circular ride taking in Dalby Forest, Ellerburn and Thornton Dale. Families were buying their Christmas trees at Low Dalby as I cycled past. Herons were gathered at the fish ponds. (Must pop back with the telephoto lens).

The church at Ellerburn was looking its best as the sun dipped over the valley side. This church dates back to 1050 and some parts are even earlier.
