O Christmas tree, o Christmas tree...

Ely Cathedral

Despite snow and ice delaying our return flight, we arrived home from Stansted at 1am this morning (3am Latvian time!) so it's been a very quiet Sunday...

But late afternoon we rallied round and summoned the energy to head into Ely and to the cathedral, to gather around the biggest Christmas Tree in town for carols and the blessing of the tree. As the lights were turned on, the countdown to Christmas began...
