Around the fire pit

Back in Basel this afternoon checking out old haunts and the Christmas markets. The one at the cathedral had a special children"s section, where they could try a variety of crafts, including wood painting and breadmaking. Here you see the baking of the bread on long sticks in the fire pit. Let me say there were quite a few burnt offerings, but they looked as though they were having fun.
