Sun at both ends.

Up extra early for a Sunday as we needed to drive over to Stockport where Mr P was running a ten mile race. We saw the sun rise as we drove towards Manchester.
During the race which set off from a park l was able to have a good walk around and take lots of shots of frozen leaves and the like as it was still very cold out of the sun.
Once Mr P had finished we made our way slowly back to the motorway, caught up in what l can only think was Christmas shopping traffic.
Once on the main thoroughfare we had a smooth run back and Mr P made the inspired suggestion to stop at the cafe at the Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford.
Anyone who has walked around those parts must know how fabulous it is.
We weren't sure how busy it would be so l tried not to get too excited but as luck would have it we got a table straight away We both had the cheese and onion pie with mushy peas, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roast and new potatoes it hardly touched the sides and less than £7 each!
Then, even though l didn't need it, we both had home made cakes and coffee.
Got home after seeing the sun starting to set over Silsden.
Just had a cheeky little sleep and now washed and changed and out into Ilkley to see The Chris Barber Jazz Band at the Kings Hall. We are recording Strictly so will watch that as soon as we get in!
