mixed media sketch and Tattoo Fly-by

so i went to speak to people at the Tattoo because i wanted to put in an 'anti-complaint' about the lack of amazingly low-flying loud fly-bys.

i said i understood it was because there had been complaints.
oh no, they said, it was because the pilots are not really allowed to fly quite so low and they also put on their after-burners which they are also not allowed to do. hehe - great! good on 'em!

plus, they said, they only do big fly-bys for the first few Tattoos when all the 'big-wigs' are likely to be there.

they said it is quite funny because now there is only a recorded sound track of the fly-by and so everyone strains to look for the aircraft in the sky when they hear it!

an awful lot of 'they said's' there. not feeling very literary just now ;-p
