Long Tail

It was a cold a frosty start to the day and I wasn't in the mood to go out in it, so was content to sit and watch the comings and goings of the birds in the back garden.
There were quite a few blue tits, great tits, chaffinches and blackbirds, one song thrush, a couple of robins, the odd goldfinch and this long tailed tit, as well as a couple of squirrels that kept coming back for more peanuts.

We went to my parents for lunch, along with my younger brother and his two daughters. One is studying for her mock GCSE's before Christmas(poor girl), and the other is 5 years younger and just being annoying!
We managed to keep her amused for a while whilst my mum tried to teach her sister how to rearrange equations!  Thank goodness lunch was served pretty quickly!

Back home now for a relaxing night in front of the TV - Strictly and Planet Earth 2. It's time for Judge Rinder to leave me thinks!!

And maybe a bit of ironing.......but hubby may well volunteer for that as he knows I hate doing it!  He's such a darling :))
