Shire Of Toodyay

We drove to the highest point in Toodyay overlooking the town, a lovely spot to stop for lunch.
Approximately 4.500 people live in the Shire, Our Son's partner Nadine was born in this small town in the Wheatbelt bordering on the victorian Plain, her Mum still lives on the property here where Nadine's Father built their first home when they both arrived from Germany, sadly he passed away suddenly when Nadine was only 18.
Its always been one of our favourite places to go for a drive, now there are family connections here, Mark & Nadine bring their two children Ruby & Deklan here quite often, they enjoy riding around the paddock on their motor Bikes, feeding the horses and just generally being away from the far madding crowds, a beautiful Summers day today ...
