Aire Valley

Our helper team was down for running the orienteering event at Northcliffe today, but with Tony being in the Lakes this weekend, it meant it was on the bike for me.  There was an initial hiccup when Liz the organiser and me couldn't make the key work to the tennis club where we were going to be based for registration and download.  Orienteers are nothing if not versatile so there was a quick improvisation, a pop up tent was found and we set up outside on the grass. Quite a few folks turned out for the event and there was lots of chat and banter and catching up, always good.

I took a quiet, if hilly, route home to avoid the traffic along the Aire Valley, which is my blip taken from Stoney Ridge Road.
