Grubby faced Greenfinch

This is one of the young ones. He has managed to get the seeds sticking all over his face. I watched him for a while whikle he tried out the apple, deciding that it wasnt really for him. He next went to the water for a drink. I was intrigued to see that with each sip he threw back his head to swallow, just like a chook.
