visit to Doncaster museum and art gallery
Tottered along to above building, grabbed a coffee before investigating the contents. Selection of racehorses from 19th century, and views of Tattersall's. Some later portraits of St Leger winners including a stunning drawing of Nijinsky - I think he was the last horse to win the English Triple Crown. Also there is the table at which it is likely that Sir Nigel Gresley held meetings to plan the design of the Mallard. Great collections of fossils too.
