2016 Xmas dinner

With 'The Magnificent Seven' + 2, the group that have become good friends after more than 10 years of playing badminton together. Being seven was great as we used to call ourselves 'Enid Blyton's Secret Seven' on WhatsApp then changed it to the 'Magnificent Seven' but now that James and Sophie have joined us (the youngsters in the photos), we are 9 - I'm not aware of any catchy names for a group of nine. I'm either going to have to get creative or terminate two members to maintain the status quo. 

Bit of a cock up on the secret santa front. Diana thought that she was buying for Mick so her jaw dropped when a present for Mick was pulled out of the sack that was not the one that she had brought for him. Luckily, the last person left was Tim and Diana's present still to be drawn out of the sack was suitable if not a perfect fit for him. He will enjoy the tin of cashews and the Rioja and the Phil Collins autobiography should make a nice doorstop!
