Danish Day.

In the old days Akureyri was often refered to as the Danish town because of the many danish people living in our town. For many years people dressed their best and spoke Danish on Sundays. Today Akureyri town decided to have a Danish day in the oldest part of the town. Danish flags were on every house and the habitants invited people for a coffee, juice and cakes in their gardens and some of them played instruments and sang danish songs. It was a wonderful day and a great one to photograph!
