Craft Fair

This afternoon lots of 'crafty' people with their wares and handicrafts gathered together in St Swithun Church, Cheswardine (the next village to us) for its annual charity Christmas Craft Fair. I had a stall together with my #1 daughter with her pottery, my French friend and her daughter with their beautiful stained glass products, mosaics and other lovely up cycled products, other friends, some people I knew and some I didn't. The event was well attended. Santa came, mince pies and mulled wine were in abundance and at 4pm we all left the Church for half an hour to see the turning on of the Christmas lights on the Village tree and sang a few carols. I love traditional village life.

At the end of the afternoon it became evident that I'm not going to become a millionaire from my stall takes today but I sold quite a few of my homemade cards and a large canvas of 'Deer on Cannock Chase' from a photo I took a couple of years ago when visiting fellow Blipper 'Tigger101' whilst she and her husband were on holiday there, but I, like everyone else I'm sure thoroughly enjoyed a 'crafty' afternoon.
