Posh Peacock

Ssssh but the sun has been shining!! The butterflies are out, mostly little brown jobs but this rather handsome Peacock was strutting his stuff on my yellow daisy type things. He seems to have especially fine markings including the little stripey edge to his wings.

Thank you for all the kind words about my friend. She's had another scan in Cork and they're just waiting on the results, hopefully she will be home tonight. I went in and helped out at her gallery/cafe this afternoon - waitressing and washing up. We had a steady flow of people all enjoying eating out in the sunshine. The falafels were a big hit, accompanied by fresh produce from the garden, as were the brown sugar meringues and strawberries. Bla was in charge and very calm and I was a bit twitchy, hoping I wasn't going to have to cope with the cappuccino making! Bla has joined blip so do pop over and say hello.

Son number 1 is arriving tonight for a last bash of freedom before going back to work in September. Himself is on airport duty. Blipping and computer time might be a bit limited!
