Swimming out beyond the surf, the sea was calm as a lake, and jade green as it sloped up to the cloud scudded horizon. I wished I dared bring my camera out to catch the visuals in a still.

Back at the waters edge I held my phone close to the breaking waves to try and capture what I had seen.

The fine weather had brought all and sundry to the beach. Men in white shorts and children with plastic floats.....
