Our new pal Rudolph

Me and P have had a right old girly day today. We went out to get our hair done this morning. We both had a trim and a tidy up and the hairdresser did a lovely French plait in P's hair for her.

Afterwards we went to the church to see the Christmas fayre. We bumped into lots of friends and neighbors including P's best friend from school. We had a go on the tombola and looked at all the craft stalls. This cute reindeer caught my eye and I just couldn't leave without him! When we got home he took up pride of place by the front door.

This afternoon P had a birthday party at the soft play. She had great fun but it was a bit awkward for me. No other parents stayed but as I knew P wouldn't want to be there on her own and I had already said I would look after her friend too (as her mum was busy) I had to stay. Just me and the birthday girls parents...a bit odd as I can't say we had much to talk about. P and the others all seemed to enjoy it though so that's all that matters.
