There was a band playing in my head

Cubbington silver band were playing in Stratford this morning to raise money for oooh... I can't remember, Myton Hospice I think. Anyway they sounded lovely and cheerful and it made a change to hear properly played carols instead of all the cheesy versions you hear in the shops at this time of year.
I have now bought four presents and have a Christmas cake baking so preparations have begun.
