Day 337 of 366 - Wayside Preaching Cross!
The original photo was taken this Afternoon in the village of Berkswell. The view is of the Wayside preaching cross that is located in the grounds of St John the Baptist parish church. The cross itself was restored about 30 years ago, however the stone steps at the base of the cross date back to Saxon times and predate the church.
The photo was taken using the app ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the photo. I Cropped the image and applied the Tonal Contrast filter. I also changed the white balance of the image. After this I boosted the Contrast, Saturation and Ambiance. I also decreased the Highlights a little. Next I used the app Brushstroke to apply the Oil Paint 04 preset, I also changed the canvas style to Cold Press. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Tone preset, the Vibrant FX and a Medium Dark Vignette. I then applied the Stucco texture and the Burlap frame.
