Blues is a beautiful genre of music, and it shows a truth about the human condition. Any means to map the mind and its expression is a journey worth taking. It is infinite.

I also saw The Avengers today. I was inundated with boyish glee. It was purely spectacle and upon recollection, it was a stupid story. Nonetheless it was beautiful, cohesive, funny, and even though it was televisual for the first 20 minutes, Joss Whedon was the right choice. The stories of the individual characters by themselves were heavy enough as it is, but Mr. Whedon brought it down to that easy level for the film to be utterly enjoyable.
