Strange Feeder Fellows
The wrens (this is a Carolina Wren) don't usually eat seeds. They're more insect eaters. But I suppose it's nice to be able to supplement your diet when the insects are scarce. This one was alone on this feeder having a nosh when a goldfinch landed next to him/her. And then a second one flew in and the Wren decided it was outnumbered and left. As much as anything, I was intrigued to see that the goldfinches made the wren look big!
