Our annual Late Night Shopping event in Uckfield tonight, for once the weather was kind and many [people thronged the high street.  Shops had their Christmas window displays and lights and assistants in fancy dress, much mulled wine was dispensed.  The road was closed and there was entertainment from a local brass band, a Fire engine, an open mike stage, a dance troupe and of course youngsters singing carols.  A big success for the town I think.

Not quite sure why this guy felt the need to be transformed into a transformer (I think!), but he seemed happy and no-one batted an eyelid ...  how cool is that?  Besides is it any sillier than walking around in a Christmas pudding hat and Christmas jumper . .... I rest my case ...
