Back Street
Having delivered some calendars and cards to Heptonstall Post Office we decided to have a wander around the village before the rain set in.
This is West Laithe, just below the church. Access is very restricted, so I don't think many/any cars get along here - this means the wear you see on the stone flags is the result of clogs and boots (and the occasional horse drawn cart) over the last 200 years or so.
