Beach fun at Porth Ceiriad

With the only decent day for the beach by the forecast we headed back down to Porth Ceiriad with all our beach gear for a day in the sun. The beach is lovely and sandy with some rock pools at the ends. So we enjoyed rockpooling, castle building, kite flying, being buried in the sand and jumping in the surf. It isn't a beach for swimming but the surfers and body boarders were having fun. One of life's simple pleasures has to be jumping in the waves and sometimes being knocked flat over by the strength of the water!
