Our Last Trip......
....To our lovely beach of nearly 5 years.
We wont have time for another jaunt down there...too many things to do.
It was important that we took Rumi for his last frolick on 'his' beach cause he is going to stay with my Ma and Pa for a few days whilst things start to get hectic...already he is very jumpy and wont leave my side.
We also decided to light a fire for a ritual burning of all the old bill receipts and all the personal paper work that one does not like to throw in the bin...it seems to be a habit of mine whenever I leave a place I have called home for a while...to have a bonfire usually.
Anyway the decks are cleared ready for our new beginnings...as I mentioned before...its a bitter sweet time....sad to leave our coastal dwelling but excited to live in the shadow of the Volcano...Wollumbin.
I was just saying to Jaiya that it didnt seem that long ago we arrived here...Our Sea Change 5/2/2012.
And our little guy was not much bigger than a guinea pig.
I know its not good to wish ones life away but I am thinking about this time next week when all the moving will be done and the dust will be settling a bit.......I think Im going to have a wee tipple to celebrate then...its been a long journey and it aint over yet.
