Christmas is on its way

Just made the connection in Amsterdam, although our hold baggage didn't, but we're used to that, after years of 'space available' travel. Hopefully we'll see it tomorrow. Older daughter was at Heathrow to meet us, so lot's of hugs and kisses and happiness, and more later when we collected our younger grandson from school. Then great excitement when he opened his Christmas box (there are a few more dimensions to Christmas than when we were young. I suppose it would be Scrooge-ish to question them)?
 
Sun, blue sky with jet trails, frost and bare trees. England is looking beautiful - and cold. Smoked salmon for supper - perfect - and about to snuggle into a warm bed. Perfect.
