En route from the Hairdressers

I cycled to the hairdressers this morning and Hannah worked her magic and then I ruined it by shoving my helmet on top!

Pedalling along the towpath I blipped the stillness of the canal before a pack of mallards arrived to disturb it.  Lots of narrowboats moored here two abreast, presumably for the winter.

Then it was a quick lunch before heading to Verity's and we were off to Ilkley Cinema to watch 'The Light Between the Oceans'.  I read the book some months ago and was pleased that the film remained true to it.  It was quite slow moving at first but it mattered not because the photography was breathtaking.  Michael Fassbender is quite superb!
