My Dear Fellow,

Do you remember 2005, and how we used to come here once a week to do the pub quiz with Dave the Yorkshireman, Lydie the French Lady and Sally Damage?

It feels like such a long time ago, and I'm quite sad we lost touch with all of those people. 

Of course, the main thing I remember about Dave the Yorkshireman was that his theme tune was "Gold" by Spandau Ballet. Whenever it came on he would join in. "ALWAYS BELEEEVIN, CAUSE YOU ARE GOOOOLD!"

Perhaps you did not witness this. Or have forgotten. Fortunately the song did not come on that often. It may be why we lost touch with him, now that I think of it.
