Fly past

We had a walk on the beach at Rosemarkie this afternoon. It was very mild and dry with no wind so quite pleasant. These Turnstones in their winter plumage were flying around trying to avoid a dog that kept chasing them. Eventually the dog gave up and they settled on the waters edge.
